World Languages 360 is pleased to announce our next round of grants for 2026-2027. We are offering 5 standalone grants under the umbrella category of Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL), which includes, but is not limited to, Artificial Intelligence-related (AI) projects like the program we offered in 2025-2026. We are also pleased to announce an expansion of our partnership program grants, now including 3 grants each with partners Extempore, Pangea Chat, and Speakology AI.
The CALL grants are for the Fall, 2026 semester and are intended to be focused on a specific project where preparation can take place over the summer, followed by an active working period to be concluded by the end of the year. Up to 2 researchers may be funded under each of the 5 grants.
Each of the partnership grants can begin with the same preparation during the summer but can include an active working period over the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 timeframe, concluding by the end of May 2027. These grants are intended for a single researcher on each grant.
